Jaden currently works as a climbing instructor for Stone Adventures in Joshua Tree, California. Jaden has been guiding for 6 years and has not only helped many climbers hone their skills, but has also had the privilege of introducing people of all ages and backgrounds to the wonderful experience of climbing outside.
Jaden hopes to use his degree to have a larger impact when it comes to encouraging the public, and mainly kids, to engage in outdoor recreation. With so many mental, physical, emotional, and psychological benefits to outdoor recreation, Jaden hopes to make these benefits more accessible to rural and urban communities who would otherwise not have the opportunity to recreate in a wilderness setting.
One fun fact about Jaden is that he was in an internationally touring rock band from 2012 until 2021. (A)RGUM(E)NT(?) has toured up and down both coasts of the U.S., played shows in Mexico, and even toured festivals in London, Wales, and Bristol.
Although climbing is the main way that Jaden connects to the outdoors, he believes that all activities, regardless of whether or not they are extreme, demanding, or remote, can have amazing benefits for oneself.
